Hatsune Miku is a Vocaloid (Which is a voice synthesizer that was given a personality and overall look) by Yamaha, and she is one of my favorite divas EVER. I love every installment of her game and have played most of them if not all of them. It's rather impossible for me to go without a year and not cosplay any of her versions. (Which is I tell you, pretty countless). About the costume:
It's a modified version of their Project Diva uniforms. As the freedom to add accessories and huge neck ribbons was implemented during Dreamy Theatre and Project Diva F, so I took the liberty of personalizing her to some extent. I made the costume hours before the convention. (In which case, ironically I actually made 2 other costumes and finished everything. But ended up wearing Miku

Sword art Online, my current anime drug. Although the light Novel is notches better than the anime. It does not miss out on the points of conflict. Though development wise, they lack a lot with Asuna's character. My favorite shot from Sir Alain's set She is currently one of my favorite heroines. As usual, I made everything from scratch. The materials available to me were limited to very few and the time I had was a span of the week while juggling work. (And thus I ended up with acne breakouts "OTL) The wig? Yes, that was a styled wig. I cosplayed her way before anyone else had available wigs. XD Although this was in lieu of my former plan Esther Blanchett, I did not regret crafting this costume and I learned a hell lot from it!
Saber Alter or "Dark Saber" is basically "King Arthur" that has been summoned as a hero by someone with a rather dark and sad past. The series revolves around a Holy Grail war, with epic heroes being called forth by "masters" through a ritual. More of this in the "Fate Stay franchise". Saber Alter though, does not appear in any of the series and only appears in the game "Heaven's Feel". On with the show: Yep, a rather noobish effort at a photograph. But hey~ we were in a convention. Also note that my armor is on backwards. *rofl* The adrenaline was just too much and I just wore it like a sir and pranced around. Most people prolly didn't even give shit. But yes, I wore the chin guard and a mask aside from wearing those yellow contact lenses. Why? Because that's how cosplaying should be. I also put red marks all over my face, which is unfortunately not seen here. Also, honestly I'm OC about how cloth falls, folds and holds. See that weird Lady Gaga sleeve? That was one of those "eureka-oh-my-gad" moments, I seriously loved how easy I made that. A first for everything Yep, I look like a guy in this shot. And why is that? Because of my bangs. I know, entirely my fault. But then for people who do not know me, at the least pick on me without me seeing it. I was depressed over this for a while. But now I look at it. That girl had a point. besides I didn't color my brows and that was fatal. This would be my last fully hand sewn creation. My Aizen-sama had mercy on me because I was tackling on Queen Esther and thus bought me a sewing machine. Though it's a tiny one, I'm seriously addicted to the sound it makes. (Ka-cha-ka-cha-ka-cha... *_*) *cough* Although these aren't all the pictures, I had fun and it was interesting to be a bad ass version of a classic and well loved character. I hope I did her justice. A lesson learned I'm that person under rocks and in caves. I am not very good with dealing with people so I limit myself to what I can handle. Which is usually online contact. I learned here, that other than people being too complicated for my tastes... most people think the internet is something where you can change who you are and be a villain to everyone because of anonymity. At the end of the day, it's still YOU who's being an idiot. And am not going to be part of that. Less affected, more happy~ Right? XD
My first ever cosplay, National drawing contest, and convention With sparkly innocent eyes, I kept looking at everyone else wearing costumes like idols. I also remember seeing ms. Alodia on stage as an Isis and she bagged "People's Choice" I screamed my lungs out whenever some Full Support priest would be the only one left. (As I am myself a serious FS player) Also almost won the LU! Pero o Bayong, when only two of us were left I honestly wanted to get off on stage already so I lost-- on purpose. The host liked to chat too much and I wasn't too keen on that. It was the first time I ever submitted an Entry to a national competition and actually got in the top 20. (But of course, I did not win) Usually, tickets are so well made and are worth saving.
This one though, beats everything else. Honestly, one of the best cosplayers out here by true meaning of the craft. A little BioYuki is currently 22 years old, and she lives in Thailand. And am going to guess you've probably seen her cosplays on the internet even if you didn't know her. Like myself *cough* she makes her own costumes from scratch. Though she is more of an 'armor addict'. She defines the term 'armor addict' quite well, as she is extremely great at crafting them, she's seriously good at it as well. Besides that, she's also blessed with really cute features. Websites: |
